Walking
Whether you fancy a quiet stroll through the valley, a ramble through the woods or a hike up the mountains, it's all here for you.
Due to the location of Narnia Lodgings there are plenty of delighful walks right on your doorstep.
The natural parks of Sierras de Tejeda and Sierra Nevada are also close by, both offering stunning scenery and fascinating wild flora and fauna.
Eating out
Alhama de Granada is only a 20 min drive away and offers an abundance of traditional spanish restaurants. Here you can soak up the atmosphere as you sit outside in the plaza with a glass of tinto.
There are also countless places to eat on the coast which offer dishes from all over the world.
Take a dip
If you fancy relaxing in the sun or cooling off with a swim, the Costa del Sol is only a half hour drive away, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops to entertain as well.
If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle why not head up to lake Bermejales (40 min drive). A beautiful lake set among pine trees... you'll often find you have the whole place to yourself!
Explore the cities
With both Granada and Malaga only an hour away there is plenty to explore. Malaga offers shops, restaurants and museums including the Pablo Picasso museum.
If history and culture interests you, you will find Granada fascinating. With the Alhambra, Albaicín and flamenco guitarists playing on the streets to entertain, you will be swept up in a spanish dream. And there's more... the Sierra Nevada is a short drive out of the city where you will find beautiful walks and skiing and toboganing in winter.
